Sanawad (Madhya Pradesh): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched its election campaign for Sanawad municipal corporation elections to be held in July. Amid campaign, BJP MLA Sachin Birla expressed confidence in the formation of a BJP council in the city's municipality.
The MLAs and BJP candidates assured the voters that their problems would be resolved by setting up a chaupal on priority basis after the elections. According to the aspirations of citizens, development works will be done in each ward. MLA Birla said these things during the election campaign in 14 wards of the city on Sunday.
During this, voters gave a grand welcome to the MLA, BJP candidates and their colleagues by showering flowers. The MLA and candidates also touched the feet of elders and women for blessing and support in the elections. Party planned small meetings in various wards of the city. They informed the voters about public welfare schemes and achievements of the Central and State Governments of BJP.
Also, the independent candidates from Ward no 11 and 16 announced to stand in support of BJP under the guidance of in-charge minister Kamal Patel and MLA Manohar Prajapat. Notably, a silent public relations campaign was also carried out by the party's candidate and MLA in various parts of Sanawad city on Tuesday night.
