Indore : Nearly four months after registering a case against him and 25 others in a money laundering case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) here, on Tuesday quizzed Dr Jagdish Sagar, one of the prime accused in MP-PMT scam, for more than seven hours.
He was brought to the city by the STF on the summons issued by the ED.
He was straight away taken to the ED office located in Palika Plaza where questioning began at 12.30 pm and lasted at 7.30 pm.
Sources said that Sagar cooperated with the ED officials and gave vital information in money laundering case.
Information given by Sagar would boost investigation in the case and help in prosecution, the ED officials said. Source in the directorate claimed that he admitted to all the charges framed against him and wished to become a government witness.
After quizzing, the STF team took him back to Bhopal. The ED previously had questioned ex-exam controller of Vyapam Pankaj Trivedi and Nitin Mahindra, both accused in the MP-PMT and other scams.
