Indore : Family members of a deceased woman created a ruckus in Aurobindo Hospital on Saturday morning. They alleged that the hospital staff kept her on ventilator even after her death. Heavy police force was deployed in the hospital after the incident to avoid any untoward incident.

As per information, family members of Kavita, a resident of Kajlana village, was admitted to the hospital on Thursday and she delivered a healthy baby on the same day.

“She was quite healthy after the delivery but the doctors shifted her to ICU claiming her deteriorating condition. Kavita died on Friday morning but the hospital staff kept her on ventilator to extract more fees from us,” one of the family members of the deceased said.

Meanwhile, the hospital staff informed the police, which defused the situation. Family members also lodged a complaint with the police about the incident.
