Indore : To avoid clash among bus operators, running on the same routes, the Regional Transport Department has decided to act against buses which are not following the permit norms.

The action would begin from Tuesday morning and RTO MP Singh will lead a team outside Sarwate and Gangwal bus stands.

“We have fixed a proper time for departure of every bus which have a gap of around 10-20 minutes on every route. But, the bus operators stop their buses outside the bus stand to get more passengers and this clashes with the timing of next bus,” Singh said.

“We will see bus timings and routes by Tuesday. Initially, we will give a warning and will cancel the permit if they repeat the fault,” the RTO said.

It is to be noted that the RTO has to face the ire of bus operators in every meeting to discuss the issues of permits and complaints over new permits.

The RTO has also been preparing software with the help of Smartchip Company to make the permit services online. The software has been prepared and RTO will test it at the earliest.
