Indore : Finding faults in online transactions, Regional Transport Officer Jitendra Raghuvanshi on Wednesday wrote a letter to the Transport Commissioner seeking latter’s permission to start a manual cash counter.

The RTO had also sent a letter to the commissioner complaining about poor online facility. He also demanded to put the old registration numbers online.

According to sources, in his letter to Transport Commissioner Sanjay Choudhary, Raghuvanshi stated that vehicle owners had been facing trouble in online transactions of tax and other payments to the RTO. He said that due to problem in link and server, consumers couldn’t deposit the payment timely and lodge their complaint to him. The RTO sought permission from the Transport Commissioner to open a manual cash counter so that consumers can deposit their money,” sources added.
