Motorbike- borne assailants execute crime Incident near Dudhiya village

Indore: In a sensational incident of loot on Nemawar Road, two employees of PDPL company carrying Rs 24 lakh meant for distribution of salary were robbed in broad daylight by two motorbikeborne assailants. The employees were traveling in company bus to company unit when the incident took place.

SP ( west) Anil Kushwah stated that the incident took place on Nemawar Road, at ` Srinath tol kanta’ near village Dudhiya at 3.55 pm on Thursday. PDPL company assistant manager Ashok Patidar, resident of Vaibhavnagar and driver Ganesh Mishra were moving toward company unit in company’s mini bus when the incident took place.

Near ` tol kanta’, a without number pulsar motorbike overtook them and forced the bus to stop. As soon as the bus stopped, the pillion rider of the motorbike stormed into the bus and threatened and manhandled Patidar who had the money bag with him. Soon, the assailant got an upper hand in the struggle and carried away the bag full of Rs 24 lakh with him. The assailants soon fled the spot.

Sources claim that Patidar tried to stop the assailant from getting out of the bus but the latter managed to escape from his grip. Sources also claimed that the assailants moved toward Nemawar on their motorbike.

Police stated that the assailants were not carrying any type of weapon with them and were fully informed about the money bag transfer via the bus. Police apprehends that the loot was premeditated; however, police are suspicious of the incident. Patidar and bus driver left company office at 2.30 pm and reached GPO located SBI branch at 3.00 pm. Here they withdrew the money and continued their journey toward company unit. The money was meant for salary distribution at a company’s unit. The incident took place at 3.55 pm. Police claimed that the assailants had complete information about the movement and they were on the tail of the employees from the bank. In primary inquiry, police have come to know that these employees had withdrawn money on Wednesday also from the bank and they were not accompanied by any security guard.

CCTV might give clue

Sources claim that CCTV camera installed at ` tol kanta’ might play a crucial role in the incident as the appearances of the assailants have been captured in the CCTV footage. However, police claim that the visuals of the assailants are not clear in the CCTV footage.
