Ratlam: Youth volunteers help Primary Health Centre staff in Raoti village as employees contract Covid

Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): Youths in Raoti village volunteered to support the staff at the Primary Health Centre after some of the health employees contracted corona.

The youths under the banner of Raoti Paryavaran, Sanskiritik and Gram Patthan Sanstha (RPSGUS) pitched in when the need of human support was being felt by the health workers at the PHC.

RPSGUS joined ‘Main Corona Volunteer’ drive of MP Jan Abhiyan Parishad during the second wave. The members of the RPSGUS were already rendering services like distributing masks, creating awareness in Raoti and nearby villages.

At the PHC, the members of the RPSGUS rendered services like thermal screening, registration of the patient among others. RPSGUS president Awadhesh Pratap Singh said in nearby villages also members of the organisation are rendering services during second wave of corona.

Now RPSGUS members have taken up the task to create awareness about anti-Covid-19 vaccination amongst villagers.

Devda in city for DCMC meet

Ratlam: District incharge minister Jagdish Devda on Saturday evening reached here to address the meeting of the District Crisis Management Committee.

Earlier, he participated in the video conferencing of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the NIC room of the college. MP Sudhir Gupta,Ratlam city MLA Chetanya Kashyap and members of the committee were present. The meeting was on till the filing of the report.
