Alot (Ratlam district, Madhya Pradesh): The father of a woman named Anita, wife of Dashrath, who died two days ago, on Sunday submitted an application at Alot police station. demanding investigation into the case.

He told police that his daughter Anita got married in 2013 to Dashrath, resident of Jalodiya tehsil, Alot. She had a daughter and a son from this marriage. His son-in-law would often beat his daughter for dowry. His daughter had complained to him about it many times. Consequently, he called his daughter back to his home.

He further told the police that his daughter Anita was married to Dashrath through the maternal uncle of Dashrath, Ram Singh resident of Ranayra, district Jhalawar of Rajasthan. When Ram Singh explained things to him and took responsibility, he sent Anita to her in-laws' at Jalodiya again. But there was no improvement in the habits of her husband Dashrath.

On Saturday, information was received on mobile phone that Anita was electrocuted. When he called Dashrath Singh and asked about her, he said that Anita has become Corona positive. When he asked him the reality thing, then he said that Anita had committed suicide by hanging herself.

When he reached her daughter's house in Jalodiya, he found his daughter dead. None of her in-laws were present. The sarpanch of the village and Ram Singh told the police that she committed suicide by hanging herself. The body was sent to the government hospital for post mortem and after that her cremation was done.

Her father said that the children were with Dashrath and if anything happened to them, Dashrath would be responsible. He alleged that Ram Singh took responsibility but is favouring Dashrath. He also wrote in the application that her daughter was murdered by her husband and didn’t commit suicide and to investigate the matter so that she gets justice.
