Ratlam : Ratlam district is going to be the first in the country to have the most modern Anganwadi — “Nand Ghar”. These modern anganwadi centres will come up in the district for which Union minister Thawarchand Gehlot will perform Bhoomi Pujan on February 8.
According to information, in order to achieve the objectives of the clean India Mission, Digital India and Skill India campaigns, Union women and children development ministry has chalked out a plan to set up these centres in the country and Ratlam’s Alot area will be the first in the country to have such modern Anganwadi.
Two villages of Alot tehsil (Mandaval and Kharawakala village) will be the first in the country to witness the upgradation.
Union Minister Gehlot will reach at Mandaval village on February 8 at 11 am and later visit Kharwakala village at 1.15 pm to perform the Bhoomi Pujan for the modern Anganwadi centres.
A total of 4000 such modern Anganwadi cenres (Nand Ghar) equipped with modern facilities will come up in the country with the support of Vedanta Group.
Fiber structure to cope up with any climatic situation will be used to build up the centres. These new modern Anganwadi will have television and digital learning material as well.
Under the Clean India Mission, “Suvidha Ghar “ will come up at these Anganwadi centres while under the Skill India campaign, training will be imparted to women for their skill developments.
