Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Three persons were killed and four received severe injuries after a truck rammed a pickup van and a tractor in Ratlam on Monday morning, police said.
The incident took place near Khachrod tri-section on Mhow-Neemuch four-lane. The road maintenance work was in progress when the incident took place. The police have registered case and started an investigation.
According to police, the tyre of truck went burst and it lost control and rammed a loading pickup van and a tractor, which were coming from opposite site. The truck was heading towards Bengaluru from Delhi, police said.
On receiving information, police team from Salakhedi police outpost reached the spot and took injured to district hospital. “Three persons including truck driver died on spot. The injured are undergoing treatment at district hospital,” said a police officer.
