Indore : After a gap of 21 months, train movement on the newly converted broad gauge track between Ratlam and Indore will start from Wednesday.

However, the regular run of trains will start from Thursday when three BJP MLAs will flag off the train at three different stations.

According to Ratlam Division of Western Railway, the train movement is going to start from Wednesday between Ratlam and Indore via Fatehabad through the newly-laid BG track. According to Railway sources, on Wednesday there will a special run of the train on that day.

The special train will start from Ratlam at 11am and reach Fatehabad at 12.30pm and depart from there for Laxmibai Nagar station at 1.20pm, where local MLA Rajesh Sonkar will flag off the train.

The train will reach Laxmibai Nagar at 2.30pm and after the new movement the train will be flagged-off by MLS Sudarshan Gupta for Indore railway station. The train is expected to reach Indore station 2.50pm and it is expected to depart from Indore for Ratlam at 3 pm, when MLA Usha Thakur will flag-off the train.

However, the regular run of the trains will start from October 2, when two DMU trains will ply between Ratlam and Indore and out of these two, morning train will reach only up to the Indore station, while the evening train will terminate at Laxmibai Nagar railway station only.
