Indore: Protest against sitting BJP MLA Sudarshan Gupta has been on the rise for a long time now and is peaking with the elections drawing nearer.
As per reports, the discontent and protests against the sitting MLA is getting more and more evident with increasing number of protestors joining in. On Monday, hundreds of youths took out a motorcycle rally in the area. They moved around the constituency for about three hours before coming to a halt.
Throughout their rally, they demanded that ticket should not be given to Gupta. They went as far as warning the BJP highcommand of working against him if he is given ticket from the area. At the end of the rally, the protestors brought an effigy of Gupta and set it on fire.
It is noteworthy that despite repeated efforts from senior BJP leaders and the RSS, the protests against Gupta’s nomination from the constituency have been on the rise and there seems to be no stopping to it in the near future as well.
