Indore : Wife of a property broker feared that her husband, who has been missing since the last five days, might have been kidnapped by some influential persons over a property deal gone sour.

According to Seema, wife of Mukesh Verma and resident of Bhagyashree Colony, her husband has been missing since November 22 and a missing persons report has been filed with the Vijay Nagar police. Seema alleged that her husband had just concluded a deal to purchase a house in Bhagyashree Colony with RK Pandey, resident of Ujjain and Santosh Suryavanshi, resident of Indore for Rs 31 lakh.

Pandey had paid Rs 7 lakh advance to Verma for the deal and then had to leave for Delhi for the treatment of his wife. While in Delhi, Pandey had called Verma many times and insisted on returning the advance paid by him.

On November 22, Verma had left to attend a marriage function after talking to Suryavanshi and never came back. The next day a missing persons report was filed with the Vijay Nagar police station and the police found Verma’s scooty parked at

the railway station parking lot.

Seema alleged that Pandey and Suryavanshi have kidnapped Verma over the property deal dispute while the police claim that Verma has left on his own accord.
