Indore: A pregnant woman died on Thursday when she was run over by a bus. She had come to Indore to visit her doctor when the tragedy occurred. Khudel police registered a case late on Wednesday night against the bus driver.
According to the police, the accident occurred on Nemawar Road on Wednesday night. Gangaram Gurjar, panchayat secretary of village Khokhariya, had come to the city with his wife Manju (27) for a doctor’s visit. As the couple travelled along Nemawar Road, a passenger bus hit their bike. Manju was thrown off due to the impact and was run over by the bus. Gangaram also sustained injuries while the motorcycle was completely damaged.
