Petlawad : Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had made so many promises before the Lok Sabha by-elections of Jhabua-Ratlam. But, when his party faced defeat in the elections, the government has forgotten to fulfil its promises.

After the by-election results, not a single promise was fulfilled by the government. The CM had announced to construct a Shraddhanjali Chowk in the memory of the Petlawad blast victims, but the chowk is yet to see the light of the day. CM had also given assurance to provide government jobs to the blast victims, but that promise also could not be fulfilled even five months after the blast. When an affected family’s member lodged his complaint on-line, the officials replied that they are yet to get any order from the government to give government jobs to blast victims.

A blast victim Sarika, wife of late Sanotsh Mulewa informed that her two children have been studying in class 9th and class 5th at the local Sharad Vdya Mandir School. During election campaign, CM had assured her that her children’s school fee would be waived off and she would be provided with a government job. But, so many days have passed since then; neither the widow got a government job nor her children’s school fees were waived off.
