Indore : A one-day workshop on crimes relating to fraud and conspiracy was held on Sunday at the Police Control Room auditorium by the city police.
DIG Santosh Kumar Singh inaugurated the workshop, while SP (West) D Kalyan Chakravarti, additional SP (Headquarters) Anjana Tiwari, CSP (Pardesipura) Ajay Jain, district prosecutor Mohmad Akram Shekh and former district Prosecutor Ashok Kumar Swarankar along with distinguished guests were present at the occasion.
Approximately 70 ASI and SI rank officers attended the workshop and addressing the workshop DIG Singh detailed crimes of fraud and conspiracy registered with the police, their investigation and conclusion. He also spoke about the prevention of such crimes and explained the laws in respect to these crimes.
The district prosecutor’s office also detailed the relevant laws and discussed prosecution of the accused in such crimes, collection of evidence and building a case by citing examples and lessons learned in the past.
