Indore: The Special Task Force ( STF) detained about 8- 10 beneficiaries of inter- state PMT impersonation racket from across the state, including five from the city, on Tuesday.

The STF officials said that three of the beneficiaries were arrested along with their guardians. As per information, the students who have been detained from the city are: Ankit of Kukshi, Rahul Jain of Chhatarpur, Mayur and Rohit.

One Shekhar Patel was also detained but later he was arrested when his links with the inter- state impersonation racket surfaced.

Similarly, one beneficiary Deepak Goyal from Bhopal and another Abhishek Verma from Gwalior were arrested along with their guardians. Sources further said that interrogation from rest of the students is on.

Four of the five students from the city, who took admission in MGM Medical College, were expelled following the orders from the Director of Medical Education.

Official sources of the STF said that they would pick- up some more students soon. It is to be noted that STF had found 345 students from across the state who had taken admission illegally in various medical colleges.

A charge- sheet against 28 accused was also filed by the agency in the court and now, they are planning to lodge cases against more accused.
