Peaceful polls in all 4 development blocks of Dhar district

In the last phase, 47,6569 voters will choose their local government. 76 janpad panchayats of 10 district panchayats and a total of 252 sarpanchs are being elected in the last phase of panchayat elections.

Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Polling was concluded peacefully in all the four development blocks of Dhar district in the third and final phase of the three-tier panchayat election-2022. About 63% voting took place in Dhar, Nalccha and Sardarpur blocks till 2.30 pm on Friday.

In the last phase, 47,6569 voters will choose their local government. 76 janpad panchayats of 10 district panchayats and a total of 252 sarpanchs are being elected in the last phase of panchayat elections.

Indore rural area DIG Chandrashekhar Solanki undertook a visit to several rural areas to ensure peaceful polling in the district, so far about 63% voting has been recorded. Collector Pankaj Jain and other district officials are on duty to ensure free and fair elections.

Counting will start at the polling centres after voting concludes. Strict security arrangements have been made by the police for the third phase of the elections.
