Indore : The Junior Doctors of MY Hospital ran a parallel OPD on the second day of their protest against the State Government and the hospital administration. They treated more than 520 patients in the parallel OPD and worked only in the emergency.
According to president of Junior Doctors’ Association Dr Pankaj Tejasvi, “The State Government has been neglecting our demands as they didn’t take any action for the same yet.” He said that they would intensify their campaign against the government and would continue to strike the work.
“We will work for emergency duties only. The junior doctors of other medical colleges are also supporting us and they also conducted parallel OPDs at their colleges,” Tejasvi said. He added that their demands were not for them only but for the welfare of patients. Large numbers of poor patients are coming to the government hospitals are facing trouble for proper treatment and medicines.
They also conducted a blood donation camp and collected 150 units of blood on the second day.
