Indore : MGM Medical College Dean Dr Pushpa Verma formed a committee to prepare the final proposal for super speciality centre to be sent to the Union Government, on Saturday.
The committee was constituted to rectify the proposals given by various departments, as the total cost of the proposals given has crossed the expected figure. According to sources, the Centre will give a grant of Rs 150 crore to develop the super speciality centre at MY Hospital. “Dr Verma had directed heads of all the departments to present a department-wise proposal so that the final proposal can be made. The total costs of the proposals presented by the departments crossed Rs 200 crore and it will be rejected by the Central Government,” source said. They further added that the committee, led by the Dean herself will rectify the faults and will remove unnecessary requirements to make a proper proposal.
