Sixth annual conference of Ophthalmological Society of India

Indore: Indore Divisional Ophthalmological Society is organising its sixth annual conference from June 7 at Brilliant Convention Centre. The two-day conference will focus on cataract, refractive surgery and Uvea. Large number of health experts from different cities will participate in the conference and will share their knowledge and experience along with the latest technologies of eyes related disorders.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, organising chairman of the conference Dr Rajiv Chaudhary said that doctors from across the country will take part in the conference. President of the Indore chapter of the Society Dr Shreya Thatte and secretary Dr Tanuja Kate informed that there would be 10 lecture sessions along with live surgeries.

“It will be for the first time in six years that we will be able to take benefits from live surgery sessions. The surgeries will be performed at Life Care Hospital, which will be telecast at Brilliant Convention Centre. The patients who will undergo surgery are either needy ones or with complicated diseases,” organising secretary Dr Mahashabde said.
