Indore : The lackadaisical working style of railways is evident from the fact that it has not started yet booking tickets in Down trains in two holiday specials while reservation for Up trains was started from September 29.

Considering the rush of passengers during festival season, the railway has announced to start festival special trains from the city for Sealdah (Kolkatta) and Kochuveli (Kerala) from October 11 and 13 respectively.

Ticket booking in both the Up trains has started from last month. However, reservation of tickets in Dn trains has not yet started and it is causing trouble to the passengers who wanted to book their tickets in it.

According to sources, reservation in train No 09310 Indore–Kochuveli was started from September 29. However, ticket booking in Kochuveli-Indore train is available only for October 16 and 23 and not for further days. The train will run till November 17.

Similarly, the weekly Holiday Special Superfast Indore-Sealdah will start from October 11 will continue till November 15 and it will leave city railway station on every Sunday. Ticket booking in Sealdah-Indore is not started yet. No official from railway was available for comments.
