INDORE: Out of the 26 suspected students of MGM Medical College, who managed to crack the MPPMT- 2012 by unfair means, only four of them cleared the first year MBBS exam. Sixteen of them were failed while the remaining didn’t appear the exams.

According to MGM Medical College insiders, the STF has given a list of 164 suspected students, who appeared in the MPPMT- 12. Out of them, 26 students took admission in MGM Medical College, Indore.

It is to be noted that during the investigation of PMT scam, the STF found that the students had left the OMR sheets blank which were reportedly filled by the officers of the MPPEB later. After the intervention of STF, the Medical Education Department sought the list of suspected students.

“ These students had somehow managed to crack the PMT by unfair means but they couldn’t clear the first year examination,” insiders said. Meanwhile, the authority remained silent on the issue of suspension of the students. DME Dr SS Kushwah said: “ We haven’t taken any decision on 164 suspected students as our meeting with MPPEB officials was cancelled.”
