Indore: Alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi attempted to politicise education through his address to school students, the NSUI activists burnt effigies of the Prime Minister at LIG Square, on Friday.

Activists led by NSUI state president Vipin Wankhede gathered at the square and raised slogans against the PM and the BJP-led government at the Centre.

Vipin said that the NSUI denounced the address of the PM as it was an attempt to influence the young minds and an attempt to politicise the education.

After his address, the NSUI activists brought out an effigy and burnt it. After some time they brought out another effigy of the PM and put it on fire.
