Indore : After legal procedure of almost three months, the Mumbai High Court has revoked ban on Maggi with conditions to go for tests before hitting the markets but the Food and Drug Administration Department, MP yet to release the report of sample it had collected from the city.

The minimum time for getting the report from the laboratory is 4 days but the city officials didn’t get the reports even after a month.

Sources in the FDA smell fishy in the matter as they claim that the reports have been blocked by the officials in Bhopal.

However, the city officials said that they didn’t have any update about the reports as they would receive the report from Bhopal.

Senior Food Safety Officer Manish Swami said, “After learning about the failed samples of Maggi, we took more than 20 samples including 8 of Maggi brands.”

He said the samples were sent to laboratory for testing about a month ago and the lab had sent the report to the head-quarters in Bhopal but they didn’t receive the reports yet.

It is to be noted that the initial samples of Maggi which were collected in April-May were failed after which the ban of imposed in Madhya Pradesh as well.
