Indore : A leading Bank of Western MP, Narmada Jhabua Gramin Bank observed its fourth foundation day as Customer meet on November 1. All the 6 Regional Managers & all staff of local Branches with their respected customers participated in the programme.

AK Pathak, ZM, Bank of India, Ujjain Zone, RN Chaturvedi, Founder Chairman of Erstwhile Dewas Shajapur Kshetriya Gramin Bank, SW Mapari, DZM, BOI, Indore Zonal Office, Pradip Kori, Chief Manager, State Bank of India, were present to grace the occasion.

During his address KV Raghavendra, Chairman, NJGB, said that the Bank came in to existence by amalgamation of 5 RRBs previously working in western MP, out of which first RRB was established on 20.06.1980 as Jhabua Dhar Kshetriya Gramin Bank. NJGB came into existence on 01.11.2012 after amalgamation of Narmada Malwa Gramin Bank and Jhabua Dhar Kshetriya Gramin Bank. Thus the Bank has been serving the masses of western MP for last 35 years.

At presently we are serving 40 lacs customers through 363 Branches spread over 14 Districts having Total Business of over Rs 8500 crore and Bank networth is more than Rs 500 crore. Bank has achieved various National & International Awards like Inclusive India Finance Award, Skoch Award etc.

Raghavendra dedicated these Awards to staff members and customers of the Bank. He also greeted all residents of MP on the Occasion of Foundation Day of Madya Pradesh.

Chaturvedi expressed his views on the situations present at the time of establishment of Regional Rural Banks and present conditions in his heart touching speech. Pathak praised the style of working and operations of the Bank. Guest Speakers expressed their greetings for bright future of the Bank and Dipawali.

RK Gupta & RM Naigaonkar, General Managers of the Bank called upon staff members of the Bank to continue their efforts toward progress of the Bank.Guest artistes presented melodious songs on the occasion which was well appreciated by the audience. Amit Shukla & PS Verma coordinated the programme.
