Indore : The Sports Authority of India and School Sports Promotion Foundation (SSPF) launched a ‘National Talent –Search and Nurture’ initiative in the form of sports competitions for CBSE students. The competition is for students in the age group of 10 to 15 years. The competition is starting with football and cricket at district, state and national levels. In the successive years, all sport activities will be included in the initiative.
Interested schools can register for the competitions online at www.sspf.in or www.sportsauthorityofindia.nic.in. Schools must register and get verification from the sports authority of India. Further, participating student’s details along with scanned copy of birth certificate and Aadhar card has to be uploaded.
On the basis of the online entries, school will be able to download all the student’s identity cards for participation in the tournament. The same information will be displayed on certificate of participation.
All the records of tournament and details of merit certificates, participation etc will be uploaded on the official website of SSPF. The online process of SSPF is designed to ensure transparency and sharing of due information. The last date of such school registration and team entry is December 10. The tournaments begin from December 15.
