Dhar : During a meeting with the agriculture and related department officers’, collector Jaishree Kiyawat instructed to start preparations to make Nalchha an ideal bloc in agriculture field.
She instructed to maximize the impact of all schemes in Nalchha to meet the target. She asked to ensure the presence of RAEOs in the village and organize farmer field school once in a fortnight. She said that E-agriculture should be organized regularly and every time new farmers should attend it.
All RAEOs, who own degree of BSc (agriculture) and MSc (agriculture), should be assigned with teaching agriculture subject at higher secondary school twice in a week. Pest control through organic ways using margo leaves, butter milk and cow urine should be promoted and seven layer farming should be introduced to the farmers. The number of bio-gas plants and vermin compost plants should be increased in the area.
SDM Neeraj Kumar emphasized integrated approach by including various schemes of all department to turn Nalchha into ideal bloc. He said that the farmers should be encouraged to adopt ways of advanced techniques. They should be advised for animal husbandry with high breed cows and buffaloes to increase milk production.
The meeting was attended by SDM Neeraj Kumar Singh, deputy director agriculture P L Sahu, DPM K L Soni from NRLM and other officers.
