Nagda (Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh): The unused land worth crores of rupees of old Kota line at Nagda Junction under Ratlam western railway division, if used commercially by making a good project, then railway administration can earn crores of rupees. MP Anil Firozia and MLA Dilip Singh Gurjar stated this in their letters to railway ministry.
“To save this land from encroachment, railways have to spend lakhs of rupees on raising buildings, walls etc. In such a situation, if the unutilised land of Nagda is used commercially by making an elaborate project, then railways can earn crores of rupees while land can also be saved,” Firozia said.
If Nagda’s beautification is to be done, the area can get a new gift by constructing a road from Kota Fatak approach road square crossing directly to bypass through cattle market land.
If this unpaved road is made, vehicles from Jaora-Ujjain bypass road will reach the industrial area. The residents of the area will get rid of heavy vehicles passing through Ingoria Road residential settlement.
MP Anil Firozia has also written a letter to railway administration regarding handing over of approach road land to local government. If they get the land, then good development will happen, he said.
Area MLA Dilip Singh Gurjar also supported the cause. Under the proposal given in the development project, if a new route is created and connected directly to the Jaora-Ujjain bypass, there can be opportunities for commercial activities.
