Nagda: Senior citizens return without vaccination, alleges district Congress unit

Septuagenarian Ganga Prasad has been visiting vaccination centre in front of government hospital for last 2 days for the second dose.

Nagda (Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh): District Congress Committee has alleged that senior citizens are facing inconvenience in getting themselves vaccinated against Covid-19.

In a press statement issued on Sunday, District Congress president Subodh Swami said septuagenarian Ganga Prasad has been visiting vaccination centre in front of government hospital for last 2 days for the second dose. He pays Rs 30 everytime to autorickshaw driver to reach the centre but he remains to be inoculated.

Similarly, Basanti Bai, a resident of 56 Block, has been visiting vaccination centre for the last 3 days to get second dose. “But she is also returning without vaccination. Many elderly people are returning without being inoculated as the BJP-led state government is not providing vaccines,” Swami added.
