Nagda (Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh): The members of Nagrik Adhikar Manch on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to tehsildar addressed to chief minister regarding inconvenience faced by people at vaccination centres due to lack of proper information.
The memorandum stated that people face trouble due to lack of adequate vaccines. They come early in the morning, take tokens but are returned by the time their turn comes as there are no doses left to administer them. Manch members alleged that there is no responsible staff to give them proper information at vaccination centres. Administrative officials don’t pay heed either.
The other demands mentioned in memorandum include providing drinking water, proper sitting arrangements for senior citizens and handicapped people at vaccination centres. “Help desks should be set up for giving corona related guidelines and for other assistance to people while social distancing should be maintained. Extra vaccines should be supplied to centres wherever required,” memorandum stated.
Advocate Jagat Singh Tirwar read the memorandum. Tehsildar Ashish Khare assured of solutions. President of Nagrik Adhikar Manch Abhay Chopra, members Shailendra Singh Chouhan, Harsh Tirwar were present on the occasion.
