Nagda: Legislator visits Bima Hospital in view of third possible Covid wave, asks officials to complete work

The matter will be raised in Vidhan Sabha to draw attention towards efforts being made to get approval from the government for construction of a new building of Civil Hospital worth Rs 7.50 crore on the vacant land of Bima hospital.

Nagda (Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh): In view of third possible Covid wave, MLA Dilip Singh Gurjar visited Bima Hospital Covid Centre on Tuesday and asked health department officials to complete pending work in 10-bed ventilator ICU ward. The work is being done from MLA fund of Rs 40 lakh.

Gurjar said Bima hospital will be made a-100 bed oxygen Covid centre. He said he has written a letter to chief minister for directing officials to take immediate action to transfer Bima Hospital to state government.

The matter will be raised in Vidhan Sabha to draw attention towards efforts being made to get approval from the government for construction of a new building of Civil Hospital worth Rs 7.50 crore on the vacant land of Bima hospital.

Gurjar said action is being taken to install lift and a ramp while an ambulance with multi-stretcher ventilator worth Rs 35 lakh from the MLA fund will also be made available at hospital soon.
