Nagda (Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh): After the C-Reactive Protein Test (CRP) report of 10 children conducted at pathology laboratory was made public recently, the parents have raised objection.
Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr Kamal Solanki issued a notice to the lab owner on Tuesday asking him under what authority was the personal report made public and asked about the doctors who recommended the tests to 10 children. The lab operator has to respond to notice within a day.
According to information, the CRP test report of 10 children was made public by Blue Path Lab. Taking cognisance, SDM Ashutosh Goswami asked BMO to issue notice to the lab owner.
What is troubling people during pandemic is that there is difference between the reports of tests done in private labs and those conducted at government facilities.
Sources said there is difference in CRP tests done in private labs. In such a situation, relying solely on the tests done at private labs can be fatal. Keeping this in view, some doctors are seeking people to get tests done at authorised hospitals and labs only.
