Nagda: 52-year-old woman with acute nervousness defeats Covid-19

Nagda (Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh): A woman suffering from acute nervousness and shortness of breath battled against Covid successfully and returned home on Tuesday after getting infection-free.

The woman was admitted in the ICU ward of civil hospital on June 7. Covid Nodal Officer Dr Sanjiv Kumrawat said 52-year-old woman was admitted in ICU with high fever and nervousness. At the time of hospitalisation, the patient's oxygen level was 84 per cent with 55 per cent infection in lungs.

Dr Kumrawat said as the patient was too scared, the team of doctors and nurses took her treatment as a challenge. Medical Officer Dr Saman Qureshi, Dr Aruna, Dr Pratibha, nursing staff Benazir, Tripti, Pramod Soni, Divya, Poonam, Vijaya, Shraddha and Rakesh helped her overcome fear, nervousness and gave treatment.

At the time of discharge, the patient was presented flowers. Medical Officer Dr Vinod Lahiri and BMO Dr Kamal Solanki were present on the occasion.
