Indore : In conjunction with traditional treatment and advancement in health care, doctors have also found music as one of the most effective ways to treat patients suffering from serious ailments. Large number of studies has also found that listening to music of a particular genre and tempo can help in getting rid of anxiety and fatigue.

Acting on the same concept, organisation ‘Hamari Choupal’ is going to organise a programme to make people aware of music therapy on September 30 in which Mumbai-based, Dr Rahul Joshi will demonstrate treatment and shed light on the various ways of using music as treatment.

“Dr Joshi will explain the process of awakening the seven chakras of the body with seven ‘Surs’. He will share details about how these chakras affect various parts of the body. Classical music will be especially used to demonstrate,” Chairperson of Hamari Chopal Pushpa Mittal said.

She added that the expert will also elaborate on positive impact of music on body, mind and overall personality, and the possibility of curing depression, cholesterol, thyroid, and heart diseases with the help of musical therapy.
