MP deprived of its share of money: Tai

Indore: Launching a broadside against Congress- led UPA Government, sitting MP and BJP Lok Sabha candidate Sumitra Mahajan on Thursday said that the Central govt had treated MP step- motherly and did not give its rightful share. “ Such bias government should not continue at the Centre,” she said during her election rally at Constituency No. 2, on Thursday.

In her address, Mahajan said that the UPA government had cheated the State Government and also breached the trust of the people by providing fewer fund to the state for various developmental projects.

Continuing her tirade, she said that the Centre didn’t provide the assured amount to the State. She added that the Central and State governments should work hand in hand but the Congress led UPA govt did not provide enough fund as it was ruled by the BJP government, which managed its affairs single handedly.

Tai will participate in the Jansampark in constituency no. 2 on Friday. City party president Kailash Sharma on the occasion said that CM of Goa Manohar Parikar would be in city on Friday to deliver a lecture at Jaal Auditorium. He added that the CM would participate in a meeting organized in support of Tai at 2pm in Gautampura.
