Monsoon all set to hit city on June 22-23

Indore : Indoreans will have to wait for couple of days more to witness proper rainfall, said weathermen on Sunday. They also expressed hope that monsoon rains would hit the city by June 22-23.

Meanwhile, rising humidity made the city’s atmosphere sultry and also increased desperation of people about monsoon.

According to the Met department officials, the maximum temperature recorded on Sunday was 35.5 degrees Celsius, which was two degrees above the normal with humidity at 85 percent. However, the night temperature was stuck at 23.2 degrees Celsius.

Clouds are hovering in the sky for last few days and he city experienced rains on Friday and Saturday evening.

The Met officials said that there would be no relief from increasing humidity in next couple of days and the temp is expected to remain around 36 degrees till June 25 while the humidity level would be around 85 percent.
