Molestation in city bus: 2 held

Indore: The Vijay Nagar police arrested two accused, on Monday for molesting a coaching institute teacher in a moving city bus. However, the police didn’t register any case against conductor Arun Dubey after the statements of the victim.

As per information, Vijay Nagar police arrested driver of the Route No. 3 city bus Dharmedra Rao, a resident of Jivan Ki Phel and Golu alias ogendra Rao, a friend of Arun.

According to sources, the victim informed the police that Arun was not involved in the case and was innocent. However, she said that Golu used to harass her and other female passengers. Police started interrogation of the arrested accused.

It is to be noted that the victim lodged a complaint on Saturday that she was molested by a city bus conductor and three others in the moving bus. She further said that she was the only passenger in the bus when the incident occurred. She said that the driver even didn’t stop the bus at her bus stop after which she jumped off the bus.
