Public works department minister Sajjan Singh Verma on Tuesday targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called him country’s biggest traitor. Addressing mediapersons on the sidelines of Indore Press Club’s Foundation Day, Verma said, “Narendra Modi had alliance with Mehbooba Mufti in Kashmir and followers of Mufti used to pelt stones at our armed forces. Narendra Modi is country’s biggest traitor who entered into an alliance with Mehbooba Mufti.”
He also targeted BJP over Section 370 and unemployment and said people neither got employment nor could Article 370 be scrapped. “BJP is doing vindictive politics and using constitutional institutions like CBI, ED, income tax department and even Election Commission as weapon against Opposition parties. I warn these institutions that if government changes, their chiefs will be put in dock,” Verma said. Verma said BJP doesn’t stand a chance to win this time. Responding to a query on Indore parliamentary seat, he said Congress party will declare candidate after BJP.
