Indore: The mock inspection of teaching departments and offices of the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya ( DAVV) continued on Thursday by a team comprising subject experts from outside the university which did not find the presentation by International Institute of Professional Studies ( IIPS) impressive and suggested it to justify when NAAC peer team comes for inspection its self- acclaimed “ international status”.

Mock visits were conducted at IIPS, School of Biotechnology, Central Library, School of Journalism and Mass Communication, to name a few on Thursday. Sources claimed that the subject experts’ team was not satisfied with the presentation given by the IIPS. “ From the presentation, it did not appear that IIPS is at par with other international institutes. The institute would have to justify its international status during the visit of NAAC’s peer team so it better be prepared,” sources quoted subject experts as saying.

The team also inspected Central Library, School of Biotechnology and School of Journalism and Mass Communication and appreciated facilities there. Office of registrar RD Musalgaonkar was also visited by the team members. They advised the registrar to give presentation on administrative setup in English. He reportedly has prepared his presentation in Hindi. Now he would have to translate his presentation from Hindi to English.IIPS told to justify its self- acclaimed international status
