Indore : The milk producers have decided not to hike milk prices from March 1 and said that it will be sold at Rs 38 per litre as it was being sold until now.

According to Ranglala Panori, vice-president and Iswar Joshi, secretary of MP Doodh Vyavsai Sangh the decision was made because the prices of feed are stable and water availability is plenty leading to excellent milk production and therefore the Sangh has decided not to hike the prices as for now.

The duo said that the Sangh will meet again on May 1 and decide if prices are to be hiked then and appealed that consumers should pay the old price of Rs 38 per litre.
