Indore : Along with the renovation of M Hospital, the MGM Medical College administration has also ordered advanced equipment worth Rs 3 crores on Tuesday.
With the installation of these machineries, patients will get advanced diagnostic facilities in the biggest government medical facility of the state at a low cost.
According to spokesperson of MGM Medical College Dr Rahul Rokade, divisional commissioner and president of MGMMC autonomous body Sanjay Dubey had given the nod for purchasing the equipment. “ The divisional commissioner has also visited the hospital on Tuesday to inspecting the renovation work. Orders for buying the equipment have been placed and the same will be installed in the hospital within two months,” Dr Rokade said. Machines ordered by the college administration include two digital radiography machines ( one will be installed at the new OPD building and the other in the casualty), five bed side colour doppler machines ( two will be places in new OPD and one each in gynaecology department, casualty and cardiology department), one flow cytometer ( which will be helpful in the diagnoses of AIDS and thalassemia) and one computer radiography machine.
