Indore : “With polycystic ovarian syndrome predominantly contribute to infertility in women, poor sperm count in men too is equally responsible for couple’s infertility,” test tube baby specialist, Dr Shweta Kaul-Jha, said.
Addressing media persons during a two-day free health check-up camp started from Saturday at Greater Kailash Hospital, she said that due to lack of awareness, patients reach us with high complications.
“Females are always held responsible for infertility issues. However, of late infertility problems are seen more in males. Poor sperm quality, sperm count are posing problem for couples to conceive. In both genders, it is changing lifestyle habit including stress, poor nutrition and lack of exercise are responsible for infertility issues.”
Discussing about urological problems, Dr Anil Bandi said “Urological problems are high in females but due to social issues very few report it to doctors. After pregnancy, urine secretion problem is commonly reported in females. However, the problem has easy and perfect treatment. These problems affect patient’s psychology so treatment should be taken,” said Urologist, Dr Bandi. Neurologist, Dr Naveen Tiwari discussed about hypertension and diabetes.
