Indore :A medical store owner and a civil contractor were nabbed for allegedly harassing a girl by making her obscene calls over mobile phone. The accused have been handed over to the Aerodrome police for further action.
A girl residing in Aerodrome area had contacted to ‘We Care For You’ cell through city police’s intiative ‘Crime Watch’ on Friday and lodged a complaint alleging that two persons were harassing her by making obscene phone calls even in odd hours. She also allegedly tried to stop them but they continued to call her.
After getting complaint from the girl, the team caught both the accused on the basis of their mobile phone locations. They introduced themselves as Rajkumar, a medical store owner from Rajendra Nagar and Rahul Prajapat, a civil contractor from Pardeshipura. The accused told the police that they got victim’s mobile number from a public toilet in Rajendra Nagar a few days ago after which they started calling her.
Both the accused have been handed over to the Aerodrome police for further action.
