Indore : The accusation of result of medical courses’ exams are being delayed by several months at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is a very common.

The uncommon one came on Monday when some students of BDS reached the university alleging that their results delayed because answer sheets are not being handled properly at the Evaluation Centre. “We came to know about this fact from employees of the Centre. They told us that even the records of answer sheets sent to examiners are not maintained properly,” the students alleged. Sources in the Evaluation Centre said that the claim was true.

“When it comes to asking examiners for returning answer copies after evaluation, first the employee who delivered the copies to examiners had to be searched for because only he knows who has the lot,” they said.

“The approach of the desk looking after medical courses answer sheets is casual. But now the things are improving with new OSDs being serious on maintaining records,” they said. BDS students of different profs had thronged the RNT Marg campus on Monday claiming that there courses are running months behind the schedule due to delay in exams and results.

They said that they were promised results in a week before the Vice Chancellor but results are still awaited even after passing off two weeks. They then went to Evaluation Centre where incharge vice chancellor Prof Anil Kumar and incharge registrar Anil Sharma took status of evaluation of BDS answer sheets. After talking to the Evaluation Centre officials, Sharma announced that all the pending results of BDS would be announced by September 22.
