Indore : Three persons, including an MBA student, committed suicide in separate incidents in the city. Two of the persons consumed poisonous substance while a third hanged himself. The police have registered the cases and are investigating.

The first suicide occurred under Palasia Police Circle. The youth was identified as Kshitij Jain son of Manish Jain and a resident of Rukmani Plaza. Kshitij was pursuing MBA from Prestige Institute.

His father owns and runs Horizon Furniture Store in Chaturvedi Mansion and Kshitij worked there part time.

On Wednesday Kshitij, along with his two friends and his maternal uncle who too was their age, had gone out for an outing. However, he felt uneasy and began vomiting and his friends admitted him to CHL Hospital where he died during treatment late in the night.

The police sent the body for autopsy and the autopsy report indicated that Kshitij had consumed poison. No note of any kind was found on his person and the family members are still in the state of shock to comment. Kshitij is survived by his sister and parents.

The second suicide occurred under Raoji Bazaar Police Circle where a man hung himself from the ceiling and committed suicide. The man was identified as Rajesh ( 28) son of Chain Singh and resident of Prakash Ka Bagicha.

His family had found him hanging and rushed him to M Hospital where he died during treatment. Preliminary investigations reveal that Rajesh is estranged from his wife and this caused him depression and may have led to suicide.

The third suicide occurred under Aerodrome Police Circle. Gajanand ( 40) son of Chanddev and resident of Loknayak Nagar was admitted to M Hospital by his family on Wednesday afternoon.

Gajanand had consumed poison and died during treatment late in the evening. So far the reason for his suicide is not known and police are investigating.
