MBA admission: Registrations for 2nd round of counselling starts

For the first round of counselling, only candidates who had taken common management admission test (CMAT) were eligible. In the second round, both CMAT and non-CMAT candidates can participate.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Registrations for second round of centralised online admission counselling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) for admission in MBA courses have started. The online window will remain open till September 30.

For the first round of counselling, only candidates who had taken common management admission test (CMAT) were eligible. In the second round, both CMAT and non-CMAT candidates can participate. Non-CMAT candidates will be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in qualifying exam.

Common merit list of second round would be announced on October 4 and allotment seats will be issued on October 10. Candidates, who would be allocated seats, will have to show up at respective colleges for confirmation of admission.

For seats remaining vacant after second round, college level counselling would be organized. Registrations for CLC round would be held from October 18 to 20. Admission will be done of registered candidates on October 20.

Today registration window for BTech first round shuts

Online registration window for first round of centralised online counselling for admission in BTech course would shut at 5 pm on Monday. Those who have appeared in JEE Mains-2021 and have not applied for the counselling as yet should act immediately. Total three rounds of admission counselling will be done. First round is for candidates who had taken JEE Mains-2021. In the second round, both JEE and non-JEE can also participate. Admission to non-JEE candidates will be granted on the basis of their marks in qualifying exams.

Third round would be college level counselling. Currently, first round is underway. The common merit list of first round will be released on September 29. The allotments of seats will be done on October 3. Students who would be allocates seats will have to report to college for confirmation of admission till October 5.
