Indore : MasterChef ‘Season 4’ semi-finalist Neha Shah was in the city on Thursday to learn cooking skills of various mouthwatering dishes on Malwa. During her stay, she interacted with Free Press and shared how she reached the semifinals of Season 4.
A food technologist from Bangalore, Neha said that she completed B.Tech. She realized that she’s not enjoying her passion of cooking and after that she started looking for a platform and reached this contest.
“I never attended any cookery classes. I cook yummy because of my passion. I learnt this skill from my mother and also followed other cuisines from internet and my interest added flavour to it.”
Sharing her feeling about the city, she said: “I am extremely happy to be here today. My dream came true when I reached the semi-finals of MasterChef. I came here to learn special dishes of Indore and I will try some cuisines at MasterChef kitchen.
About her cooking specialty, Neha mentioned that she was good in flavour combination, which was appreciated by noted chefs Sanjeev Kapoor, Vikas and Ranveer. Apart from this I am very confident in cooking deserts.
If I win the contest then I will do many things in the food industry from writing books to hosting shows on food and selling non -perishable food ingredients online! I hope I win the competition this season!”
