Indore : ‘We Care for You’ Cell nabbed a youth for allegedly harassing a married woman over phone on Tuesday. The accused was also making obscene phone calls to the victim. He was handed over to Khajrana police for further action.
The victim, a resident of Khajrana lodged a complaint that an unidentified man was making call and harassing her by obscene talks and sending SMS.
When she protested, the accused did not stop his act after which she had to lodge a complaint with the cell.
After receiving complaint, the cell started investigation and nabbed the accused on the basis of his mobile phone location on Tuesday.
The accused is a mason and he identified himself as Dharmendra Puraiya, a resident of Gauri Nagar. During questioning, Dharmendra told the police that he had made a phone call to the victim’s mobile number and when she said wrong number, the accused started harassing her.
Now, Khajrana police are investigating into the matter and the accused was being questioned by the police.
