KHANDWA (MADHYA PRADESH): If trees are not planted and are not saved then it will be difficult for the coming generation to live on the earth, said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in video conferencing organised under the Ankur programme on the World Environment Day on Saturday.
CM also urged people to plant more and more saplings to protect our environment. Chief Minister Chouhan said, “Now along with the permission for building construction, orders will also be given for planting trees”.
Also, every person who has constructed a house under the Prime Minister's scheme must plant a sapling in front of his house, beside it. The person who will plant more and more trees will be felicitated with the Pran Vayu Award from the coming year.
KHANDWA (MADHYA PRADESH): Under the ‘Ankur’ programme organised on World Environment Day, the chief executive officer of the District Panchayat Nanda Bhalawe planted a sapling in the district panchayat premises on Saturday.
He also launched a cleanliness campaign in the district panchayat premises and also cleaned the premises. Apart from this, plantation was also done in various Anganwadi centres of the district under the Ankur programme.
